Following Hurricane Ian’s 2022 landfall, Lee County suffered extensive wind and storm surge damage. Under FEMA Disaster Declaration FEMA-4673-DR-FL, SDR executed a large-scale Private Property Debris Removal (PPDR) program in North Fort Myers and Cape Coral.
SDR managed 520+ Rights of Entry (ROEs) and removed 47,414 cubic yards of debris, including vegetative material, C&D debris, white goods, household hazardous waste, vessels, and titled property. Operations also included 23 complete structure demolitions with site restoration to local code.
SDR’s targeted, compliant, and community-focused recovery operations restored safety and habitability for hundreds of storm-impacted properties while maintaining FEMA compliance and operational efficiency.
